Indication
- Respiratory tract infections - Ear, nose and throat infections - Urinary tract infections - Skin and soft tissue infections - Dental infections
Ingredients
- Amoxicillin 875 mg / Clavulanic acid 125 mg
Direction
Usually one tablet twice daily, taken at the start of a meal, as prescribed by a physician. Complete the full course.
Side effects
- Diarrhoea
- Nausea and vomiting
- Skin rash
- Vaginal or oral thrush (candidiasis)
- Abdominal discomfort
Precautions
- Do not use if allergic to penicillins or cephalosporins
- Use with caution in liver or kidney impairment
- May cause antibiotic
- associated diarrhoea (C. difficile)
- May reduce effectiveness of oral contraceptives
