Indication
- Ménière's disease (vertigo, tinnitus, hearing loss) - Symptomatic treatment of vestibular vertigo - Associated nausea and dizziness
Ingredients
- Betahistine dihydrochloride 16 mg
Direction
Take by mouth with food; usual dose is one 16 mg tablet three times daily, then adjusted by the physician.
Side effects
- Nausea and indigestion
- Headache
- Mild gastric discomfort
- Rare allergic skin reactions (rash
- itching)
Precautions
- Use with caution in peptic ulcer disease
- Caution in patients with asthma
- Avoid in known phaeochromocytoma
- Inform doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding
