Indication

- Mucolytic for productive cough - Thinning and loosening of thick bronchial mucus - Bronchitis and other respiratory disorders with excess mucus - Aids expectoration

Ingredients

• Bromhexine hydrochloride 8 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet (8 mg) three times daily, or as directed by a physician. Take with water.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting or stomach upset
• Diarrhea
• Headache or dizziness
• Skin rash or allergic reactions (rare)

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with gastric or duodenal ulcer
• Caution in severe hepatic or renal impairment
• Consult a doctor if cough persists beyond a few days
• Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice
