Indication

- Mucolytic for productive cough - Thinning of thick bronchial secretions - Acute and chronic bronchitis with excess mucus - Aids expectoration

Ingredients

• Bromhexine hydrochloride 6 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 8-16 mg three times daily; children dosed by age. Take as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting or stomach upset
• Diarrhea or gastralgia
• Headache or dizziness
• Skin rash or urticaria (rare)

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with gastric or duodenal ulcer
• Caution in severe hepatic or renal impairment
• Do not use for more than 8
• 10 days without medical advice
• Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice
