Carbotoux Promethazine Syrup 100 mg/2.5 mg per 5 mL

Indication

- Symptomatic relief of cough, especially nighttime cough - Cough associated with bronchial mucus and mild upper-respiratory irritation

Ingredients

• Carbocisteine 100 mg + promethazine hydrochloride 2.5 mg per 5 mL

Direction

Take by mouth as directed by the physician or label; shake well before use. Dose is adjusted to age and body weight.

Side effects

• Drowsiness and sedation
• Dry mouth and constipation
• Dizziness
• Rarely
• palpitations or urinary retention

Precautions

• Causes drowsiness
• avoid driving or operating machinery
• Avoid alcohol and other CNS depressants
• Not recommended in the third trimester of pregnancy or during breastfeeding
• Use with caution in children and the elderly
