Indication
- Osteoarthritis - Rheumatoid arthritis - Ankylosing spondylitis - Acute pain and primary dysmenorrhoea
Ingredients
- Celecoxib 200 mg
Direction
Take orally with or without food; usual dose is 200 mg once daily or 100 mg twice daily, using the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.
Side effects
- Dyspepsia
- abdominal pain
- diarrhoea
- Headache and dizziness
- Peripheral oedema
- Increased risk of cardiovascular events and gastrointestinal bleeding
Precautions
- Contraindicated in active heart disease
- recent heart attack
- stroke or bypass surgery
- Avoid in sulfonamide allergy and active gastrointestinal bleeding
- Use with caution in hypertension
- renal or hepatic impairment
- Avoid in the third trimester of pregnancy
