Indication

Bepanthen First Aid is used for first-aid treatment of minor wounds, cuts, grazes, and minor burns. The dexpanthenol component promotes wound healing and skin regeneration, while chlorhexidine provides antiseptic protection against bacterial infection.

Ingredients
  • Dexpanthenol
  • Chlorhexidine
Direction

Clean the affected area. Apply a thin layer of Bepanthen First Aid to the wound and surrounding skin 1–3 times daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Cover with a dressing if necessary.

Side effects
  • Skin irritation or redness at the application site (uncommon).
  • Allergic contact dermatitis (rare) — discontinue if rash or swelling occurs.
  • Staining of fabrics is possible due to chlorhexidine.
Precautions
  • For external use only.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
  • Do not use on deep or puncture wounds
  • animal bites
  • or serious burns without medical advice.
  • Discontinue use and seek medical advice if the wound worsens

  • or does not heal within 7–10 days.
  • Contains chlorhexidine — do not use if you are allergic to chlorhexidine or any ingredient.
