Bepanthene 250mg/ml

Indication

Bepanthene (Dexpanthenol) solution/lotion is used to promote healing of skin irritations, dry or chapped skin, minor burns, sunburn, nappy rash, and skin abrasions. Dexpanthenol is converted to pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) in the skin, which is essential for normal skin metabolism and wound healing.

Direction

Apply to the affected skin area 1–2 times daily or as needed. Gently massage into the skin until absorbed. For scalp use, apply to wet hair, massage in, and rinse after a few minutes.

Side effects

• Skin irritation or redness at the application site (rare).
• Allergic contact dermatitis (very rare).

Precautions

• For external use only.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Discontinue use if skin irritation or allergic reaction occurs.
• Keep out of reach of children.
