Indication

Eagle Brand Medicated Oil is a topical counter-irritant used for temporary relief of minor muscular aches and pains, joint pain, sprains, insect bites, flatulence, and headaches. May also be used for relief of minor cold symptoms when applied to the chest.

Ingredients

• Methyl Salicylate
• Menthol
• Eucalyptus Oil

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: Apply a few drops to the affected area and massage gently, 3–4 times daily. For headache: apply to temples. For insect bites: apply a small amount to the bite. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

Side effects

• Skin irritation or burning sensation at application site.
• Allergic contact dermatitis (rare).
• Risk of salicylate absorption if applied over large body areas.

• For external use only.
• Avoid contact with eyes

• Do not apply with heating pads or tight bandages.
• Do not use in children under 2 years due to risk of camphor/eucalyptol toxicity.
