Efferalgan Vitamine C 500mg/200mg

Indication

Efferalgan Vitamine C is an effervescent combination of paracetamol and vitamin C used for the relief of mild to moderate pain (headache, cold and flu symptoms, dental pain) and fever, with the added benefit of vitamin C supplementation.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol
• Vitamin C

Direction

Adults and children over 15 years: 1 effervescent tablet dissolved in a glass of water, every 4–6 hours as needed. Maximum 3 tablets in 24 hours. Do not exceed 3 g paracetamol daily.

Side effects

• Nausea (rare at therapeutic doses).
• Gastrointestinal upset.
• Liver toxicity with paracetamol overdose.
• Kidney stones with high
• dose vitamin C (rare).

Precautions

• Do not use with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Avoid in patients with liver disease
• alcohol dependence
• or glucose
• 6
• phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency.
• High doses of vitamin C may cause kidney stones in susceptible individuals.
• Not recommended in children under 15 without medical advice.
• Keep out of reach of children.
