Indication

Used for the treatment of allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis, urticaria, angioedema, bronchial asthma exacerbations, and hypersensitivity reactions requiring corticosteroid and antihistamine combination therapy.

Ingredients

• Betamethasone
• Dexchlorpheniramine

Direction

Adults: As directed by a physician. Typical oral dosing: 1 tablet 2–3 times daily. Children: dose adjusted by weight and age under medical supervision. Take with food to reduce gastric irritation.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in patients with systemic fungal infections.
• Betamethasone may suppress the hypothalamic
• pituitary
• adrenal axis with prolonged use.
• Avoid abrupt withdrawal after prolonged use.
• Dexchlorpheniramine may cause drowsiness
• avoid driving or operating machinery.
• Use with caution in patients with hypertension
• diabetes
• osteoporosis
• peptic ulcer
• or glaucoma.
• Avoid in patients taking MAO inhibitors.
• Not recommended in pregnancy without medical advice.
• Keep out of reach of children.
