Indication

Used for symptomatic relief of cold and flu symptoms including fever, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and productive cough.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol
• Phenylephrine Hydrochloride
• Levocetirizine Hydrochloride
• Ambroxol Hydrochloride

Direction

Take as directed by a physician or as indicated on the product label. Typically 1 tablet every 8–12 hours for adults. Take with food to reduce gastric upset.

Side effects

• Paracetamol: rare at recommended doses
• overdose causes hepatotoxicity.
• Phenylephrine: palpitations
• hypertension
• headache
• insomnia.
• Levocetirizine: drowsiness
• dry mouth
• fatigue.
• Ambroxol: nausea
• gastrointestinal discomfort.

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Avoid concurrent use with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Phenylephrine: contraindicated with MAO inhibitors
• use caution in hypertension
• cardiac disease
• hyperthyroidism.
• Levocetirizine: may cause drowsiness
• avoid driving or operating machinery.
• Avoid in patients with severe hepatic or renal impairment.
• Not recommended in children without medical advice.
• Keep out of reach of children.
