Indication

Used for symptomatic relief of cold and flu symptoms including fever, headache, nasal congestion, runny nose, and sneezing.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol
• Chlorpheniramine maleate
• Phenylephrine

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours. Take with water. May be taken with food to reduce gastric upset.

Side effects

• Paracetamol: rare at recommended doses
• hepatotoxicity in overdose.
• Chlorpheniramine: sedation
• dry mouth
• blurred vision.
• Phenylephrine: headache
• insomnia
• palpitations.

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Avoid concurrent use with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Contraindicated with MAO inhibitors.
• Phenylephrine: use caution in hypertension
• cardiac disease
• diabetes
• hyperthyroidism.
• Chlorpheniramine: may cause drowsiness
• avoid driving.
• Not recommended in children under 12 years.
• Keep out of reach of children.
