Indication
Used for symptomatic relief of cold and flu in adults, including fever, nasal and sinus congestion, runny nose, and sneezing.
Ingredients
- paracetamol
- phenylephrine hydrochloride
- chlorpheniramine maleate
Direction
Adults and children 12 years and over: 1–2 tablets every 6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours. Take with water, preferably with food.
Side effects
- Paracetamol: rare at recommended doses.
- Chlorpheniramine: sedation
- dry mouth.
- Phenylephrine: headache
- insomnia
- palpitations.
Precautions
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- Avoid concurrent use with other paracetamol
- containing products.
- Contraindicated with MAO inhibitors.
- Chlorpheniramine: may cause drowsiness
- avoid driving.
- Phenylephrine: use caution in hypertension
- diabetes
- hyperthyroidism.
- Not recommended in children under 12 years.
- Keep out of reach of children.
