Flexosone Nasal Spray 50mcg/actuation

Indication

An intranasal corticosteroid used for the prophylaxis and treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, and non-allergic rhinitis, in adults and children.

Ingredients

• Fluticasone Propionate

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 sprays into each nostril once daily (total 200 mcg/day). Maintenance: 1 spray into each nostril once daily. Children 4–11 years: 1 spray into each nostril once daily (total 100 mcg/day). Use regularly for best effect.

Side effects

• Nasal irritation

• Epistaxis (nosebleed).
• Headache.
• Unpleasant taste or smell.
• Rarely
• nasal septal perforation.

Precautions

• Not for acute asthma attacks.
• Use with caution in patients with untreated nasal or respiratory infections.
• Prolonged use may cause nasal septal perforation (rare).
• Systemic corticosteroid effects possible with high doses.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms do not improve after 7 days of use.
• Not recommended in children under 4 years.
