Indication

An intranasal corticosteroid used for the prophylaxis and treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, and non-allergic rhinitis.

Ingredients

• Fluticasone Propionate

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 sprays (100 mcg) into each nostril once daily. Children 4–11 years: 1 spray (50 mcg) into each nostril once daily. Use regularly for best effect.

Side effects

• Nasal irritation

• or dryness.
• Epistaxis (nosebleed).
• Headache.
• Unpleasant taste or smell.

Precautions

• Not for acute asthma attacks.
• Prolonged use may cause nasal septal perforation (rare).
• Use with caution in patients with untreated nasal infections.
• Systemic effects possible with high doses.
• Not recommended in children under 4 years.
