Indication
Tiril PLUS is a combination product containing Paracetamol (analgesic/antipyretic), Phenylephrine HCl (nasal decongestant), Levocetirizine (antihistamine), and Ambroxol HCl (mucolytic/expectorant). It is used for symptomatic relief of cold and flu symptoms including fever, headache, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and productive cough.
Ingredients
- Paracetamol
- Phenylephrine Hydrochloride
- Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride
- Ambroxol Hydrochloride
Direction
Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 1 tablet every 6–8 hours as needed. Maximum 3 tablets per 24 hours. Take with or after food. Consult a physician for dosing in children under 12.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- somnolence.
- Dry mouth
- nausea.
- Palpitations
- increased blood pressure.
- Headache
- dizziness.
- Gastrointestinal upset.
- Rare: hepatotoxicity with paracetamol overdose.
Precautions
- Do not use with other paracetamol
- containing products.
- Contraindicated with MAO inhibitors (within 14 days).
- Use with caution in patients with hypertension
- heart disease
- diabetes
- hyperthyroidism
- or glaucoma.
- May cause drowsiness
- avoid driving or operating machinery.
- Avoid alcohol during treatment.
- Use with caution in patients with renal or hepatic impairment.
- Keep out of reach of children.
