Indication
NHU-K8 Ketzol Cream (Ketoconazole + Clobetasol Propionate + Neomycin Sulfate, 10 g) is a triple-combination topical cream used to treat mixed inflammatory and infective skin conditions involving fungal, bacterial, and inflammatory components, such as infected seborrhoeic dermatitis, tinea with secondary infection, and eczema with superinfection.
Ingredients
- Ketoconazole
- Clobetasol Propionate
- Neomycin Sulfate
Direction
Adults: Apply a thin layer to the affected skin area two to three times daily. Wash and dry the area before application. Do not use on the face unless directed by a physician. Limit use to 2 weeks due to potent corticosteroid (Clobetasol) content.
Side effects
- Local burning
- stinging
- or irritation
- Skin atrophy
- striae with prolonged use (clobetasol)
- Depigmentation or hyperpigmentation
- Allergic contact dermatitis
- Systemic corticosteroid effects with extensive or prolonged use
Precautions
- For external use only.
- Do not use on facial skin
- groin
- or axillae for extended periods.
- Clobetasol is a very potent corticosteroid
- prolonged use may cause skin atrophy
- striae
- and systemic effects.
- Do not use in viral infections (herpes
- chickenpox)
- rosacea
- or acne.
- Avoid contact with eyes.
- Do not use under occlusive dressings unless directed.
- Use with extreme caution in children
- limit duration.
- Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to any component.
- Keep out of reach of children.
