Indication

Vitamin B Complex Injection (Thiamine B1, Riboflavin B2, Pyridoxine B6, Nicotinamide, Sodium Pantothenate) is used for the treatment and prevention of B-vitamin deficiencies, including conditions such as beriberi, pellagra, and peripheral neuropathy. Given by injection when oral absorption is impaired.

  • Nicotinamide
  • Sodium Pantothenate
Direction

Adults: Administered by intramuscular or slow intravenous injection as directed by a physician. Typical dose: 1–2 mL once or twice daily, or as prescribed based on clinical indication and severity of deficiency.

Side effects
  • Injection site pain or irritation
  • Flushing (niacin component)
  • Allergic reactions
  • including anaphylaxis (rare but serious — thiamine)
  • Nausea
Precautions
  • For injection use only
  • must be administered by a trained healthcare professional.
  • Anaphylactic reactions have been reported with thiamine
  • containing injections
  • resuscitation facilities should be available.
  • Use with caution in patients with allergic history.
  • High doses of pyridoxine (B6) over prolonged periods may cause peripheral sensory neuropathy.
  • Do not mix with alkaline solutions.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
