Indication

Hexaspray (Biclotymol) is a topical antiseptic and anti-inflammatory spray used to treat pharyngitis, tonsillitis, laryngitis, and other mouth and throat infections. It has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activity in the oropharyngeal area.

Ingredients

• Biclotymol

Direction

Adults and children over 6 years: 2 sprays directed to the back of the throat, 3–4 times daily. Do not inhale. Use for no more than 5–7 days unless directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Local burning or stinging in the throat (transient)
• Allergic reactions (rare)

Precautions

• Do not inhale or swallow excessively.
• Avoid use in patients with known allergy to biclotymol.
• Not for use in children under 6 years.
• Consult a physician if symptoms persist beyond 5–7 days.
• Keep out of reach of children.
