Indication

Sildenafil 100 mg is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men.

Ingredients

• Sildenafil Citrate

Direction

Adults: Take 50–100 mg approximately 1 hour before sexual activity. Do not take more than once in 24 hours. Dose may be adjusted to 25 mg or 100 mg based on efficacy and tolerability. Not to be taken with food high in fat (delays absorption).

Side effects

• Headache
• flushing
• dyspepsia.
• Nasal congestion
• dizziness.
• Visual disturbances (blurred vision
• blue
• green tinge).
• Rare: priapism (prolonged erection)
• sudden hearing loss
• hypotension.

Precautions

• Absolutely contraindicated with nitrate
• based drugs (e.g.
• glyceryl trinitrate
• isosorbide mononitrate) due to severe hypotension risk.
• Contraindicated in patients with severe cardiovascular disease for whom sexual activity is inadvisable.
• Use with caution in patients with hypotension
• retinitis pigmentosa
• or anatomical deformity of the penis.
• Avoid use with alpha
• blockers (risk of hypotension).
• Not for use in women or children.
• Keep out of reach of children.
