Lopenca 200mg/325mg

Indication

A fixed-dose combination of Ibuprofen 200 mg and Paracetamol 325 mg used for the relief of mild to moderate pain such as headache, dental pain, dysmenorrhoea, musculoskeletal pain, and fever.

Ingredients

• Ibuprofen
• Paracetamol

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: 1 tablet every 6–8 hours as needed. Do not exceed 3 tablets in 24 hours. Take with food or milk to reduce gastric irritation.

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal discomfort
• nausea
• heartburn.
• Rare: gastrointestinal bleeding
• allergic reactions
• renal impairment with prolonged use.
• Rare: hepatotoxicity (with paracetamol in overdose).

Precautions

• Do not use with other NSAID
• or paracetamol
• containing products.
• Avoid in patients with peptic ulcer
• gastrointestinal bleeding
• or severe renal/hepatic impairment.
• Use with caution in patients with asthma
• cardiovascular disease
• or the elderly.
• Avoid in the third trimester of pregnancy.
• Keep out of reach of children.
