Indication

Vitascorbol C1000 is a Vitamin C 1000 mg effervescent/dietary supplement used to supplement Vitamin C intake, support immune function, promote collagen synthesis, and act as an antioxidant. This product is not a medicine. Always consult a doctor or pharmacist before use, and stop immediately if irritation, allergy, or any adverse reaction occurs.

Direction

Adults: Dissolve 1 tablet in a glass of water and drink once daily, or as directed. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal discomfort
• diarrhoea at high doses.
• Nausea.
• Rarely: kidney stones with very high chronic intake.

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with a history of kidney stones (oxalate).
• High doses may interfere with blood and urine glucose tests.
• Consult a physician before use in patients with haemochromatosis.
• Effervescent tablets contain sodium — use with caution in patients on sodium
• restricted diets.
• Keep out of reach of children.
