Indication

Acetyl-DL-leucine 500 mg tablets are used for the symptomatic treatment of vertigo of various causes, including acute vestibular vertigo and dizziness of central or peripheral origin.

Direction

Adults: 500 mg (1 tablet) 3–5 times daily during acute vertigo episodes. Treatment should be of limited duration; consult a physician for long-term use.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated.
• Rare: gastrointestinal discomfort.
• Rare: allergic reactions.

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with known hypersensitivity to acetylleucine.
• Safety data in pregnancy and breastfeeding are limited
• consult a physician before use.
• Not a treatment for the underlying cause of vertigo.
• Keep out of reach of children.
