Indication

Acetyl-DL-leucine 500 mg is used for the symptomatic treatment of vertigo and dizziness of central or peripheral vestibular origin.

Direction

Adults: 500 mg (1 tablet) 3–5 times daily during acute vertigo episodes. Limit use to the duration of the acute episode; consult physician for extended use.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated.
• Rare: mild gastrointestinal discomfort.
• Rare: allergic reactions.

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with known hypersensitivity to acetylleucine.
• Limited safety data in pregnancy and breastfeeding

• Does not treat the underlying cause of vertigo.
• Keep out of reach of children.
