Indication
Lycyp (Cyproheptadine Hydrochloride + Tricholine Citrate + Sorbitol) is used as an appetite stimulant and hepatoprotective syrup in children and adults with poor appetite, weight loss, or liver conditions.
Ingredients
- Cyproheptadine Hydrochloride
- Tricholine Citrate
- Sorbitol
Direction
Adults: 10 mL three times daily. Children 2β12 years: 5 mL two to three times daily. Take before meals. Follow prescriber instructions.
Side effects
- Common: drowsiness
- increased appetite
- weight gain.
- Uncommon: dry mouth
- dizziness
- blurred vision.
- Rare: hypersensitivity reactions.
Precautions
- May cause drowsiness
- avoid driving or operating machinery.
- Avoid alcohol.
- Use with caution in patients with glaucoma
- urinary retention
- or prostatic hypertrophy.
- Not recommended in neonates or premature infants.
- Keep out of reach of children.
