Panadol Extra 500 mg / 65 mg

Indication

Panadol Extra (Paracetamol 500 mg + Caffeine 65 mg) is used for the relief of mild to moderate pain including headache, migraine, toothache, backache, period pain, and fever. The addition of caffeine enhances the analgesic effect of paracetamol.

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: 1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 tablets (4 g paracetamol) in 24 hours. Swallow with water. Do not take with other caffeine-containing products.

Side effects

• Rare: skin rash or allergic reactions.
• Caffeine: may cause insomnia

• Overdose of paracetamol may cause serious liver damage — seek emergency care.
