Indication
Futend-3 Cream (Clotrimazole BP 1% + Betamethasone Dipropionate 0.05% + Neomycin Sulphate 0.5%) is a triple-combination topical cream used for the treatment of mixed fungal, bacterial, and inflammatory skin conditions such as infected tinea, eczema with secondary infection, and intertrigo.
Ingredients
- Clotrimazole BP 1%
- Betamethasone Dipropionate 0.05%
- Neomycin Sulphate 0.5%
Direction
Apply a thin layer to the affected skin area 2–3 times daily and rub in gently. Duration of use should not exceed 2 weeks on the face or 4 weeks on other body areas without medical review.
Side effects
- Common: local burning
- pruritus
- or skin irritation.
- Uncommon: skin atrophy
- striae with prolonged use.
- Rare: neomycin contact sensitisation
- systemic steroid effects with extensive use.
Precautions
- For external use only
- avoid contact with eyes.
- Do not use on large skin areas or under occlusive dressings for prolonged periods.
- Contains neomycin — risk of sensitisation
- discontinue if contact dermatitis develops.
- Avoid in children under 2 years without medical supervision.
- Prolonged corticosteroid use may cause skin atrophy and striae.
- Keep out of reach of children.
