Labixten 2.5mg/ml

Indication

Labixten oral solution (Bilastine 2.5 mg/mL) is a second-generation antihistamine used for the symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinoconjunctivitis (seasonal and perennial) and urticaria in children aged 4–11 years.

Direction

Children 4–11 years (weighing ≥ 20 kg): 10 mL (25 mg) once daily, taken on an empty stomach (at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal). Adults and adolescents 12 years and over: may use tablet form (20 mg).

Precautions

• Take on an empty stomach for optimal absorption.
• Do not take with fruit juice (especially grapefruit
• orange
• or apple juice) as absorption is reduced.
• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment.
• Not recommended in children under 4 years or weighing less than 20 kg.
• Keep out of reach of children.
