Indication

Front Hydrocortisone Anti-Itch Cream (Hydrocortisone 1%) is a mild topical corticosteroid used for the temporary relief of itching and inflammation associated with minor skin irritations, eczema, insect bites, contact dermatitis, and allergic rashes.

Ingredients

Direction

Adults and children 2 years and over: apply a thin layer to the affected area 2–3 times daily and gently rub in. Wash hands after use. Do not use on the face or groin for more than 1 week without medical advice.

Side effects

• Common: transient burning or stinging on application.
• Uncommon: skin thinning
• striae
• or discolouration with prolonged use.
• Rare: systemic steroid effects with excessive or prolonged application.

Precautions

• For external use only
• avoid contact with eyes.
• Do not use on broken
• infected
• or weeping skin without medical advice.
• Avoid prolonged use or application to large areas without medical supervision.
• Not for use in children under 2 years without medical advice.
• Avoid use on facial skin for extended periods.
