Indication

Rhinatoux is a multi-symptom cold and flu preparation containing Paracetamol, Dextromethorphan, Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine, Guaifenesin, and Caffeine. It provides relief from fever, headache, dry cough, nasal congestion, runny nose, and chest congestion associated with cold and flu.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol
• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide
• Phenylephrine Hydrochloride
• Chlorpheniramine Maleate
• Guaifenesin
• Caffeine

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: take as directed on the label or by the prescribing physician, typically 1–2 tablets or measured dose every 4–6 hours. Do not exceed recommended daily dose.

Side effects

• Common: drowsiness
• dry mouth
• nausea
• dizziness.
• Uncommon: palpitations
• increased blood pressure.
• Rare: hypersensitivity reactions.

Precautions

• Do not use with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Avoid in patients with severe hypertension or cardiovascular disease.
• Do not use with MAO inhibitors or within 14 days of stopping them.
• May cause drowsiness
• avoid driving or operating machinery.
• Avoid alcohol.
• Not for use in children under 12 years.
• Keep out of reach of children.
