Lycor 1%

Indication

Lycor Cream (Hydrocortisone 1%) is a mild topical corticosteroid used for the relief of itching, redness, and inflammation associated with eczema, contact dermatitis, insect bites, and other minor inflammatory skin conditions.

Ingredients

• Hydrocortisone

Direction

Apply a thin layer to the affected skin area 2–3 times daily. Gently rub in. Wash hands after application. Do not use on the face for more than 1 week without medical advice.

Side effects

• Uncommon: skin atrophy
• striae
• discolouration with prolonged use.
• Rare: systemic steroid effects with excessive or prolonged application.

Precautions

• For external use only
• avoid contact with eyes.
• Do not use on broken
• infected
• or weeping skin without medical advice.
• Avoid prolonged use or application to large areas.
• Not for use in children under 2 years without medical advice.
• Keep out of reach of children.
