Indication

Symptomatic relief of mild throat infections and sore throat. Cetylpyridinium chloride acts as an antiseptic and Lysozyme has antibacterial enzymatic action against oral bacteria.

Ingredients

• Cetylpyridinium
• Lysozyme

Direction

Adults and children over 6 years: Allow 1 lozenge to dissolve slowly in the mouth every 2–3 hours, up to a maximum of 8 lozenges per day. Do not swallow whole. Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes after use.

Side effects

• Mild oral irritation or burning sensation
• Allergic reactions in patients sensitive to egg protein (rare)

Precautions

• Not for use in children under 6 years.
• If sore throat is severe
• persists for more than 5 days
• or is accompanied by high fever
• rash
• or headache
• consult a physician.
• Contains sugars — patients with diabetes should use with caution.
• Avoid if allergic to egg
• white proteins (lysozyme is derived from egg whites).
• Keep out of reach of children.
