Indication

Treatment of mixed vaginal infections including bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis, candidiasis (vaginal thrush), and other susceptible vaginal infections. The combination provides antiprotozoal (ternidazole), antibacterial (neomycin), antifungal (nystatin), and anti-inflammatory (prednisolone) activity.

Ingredients

• Ternidazole
• Neomycin Sulfate
• Nystatin
• Prednisolone

Direction

Adults: Insert 1 vaginal tablet deep into the vagina at bedtime for 10 consecutive days. Wash hands before and after insertion. Use the supplied applicator if provided.

Side effects

• Local vaginal irritation or burning
• Allergic contact dermatitis (particularly to neomycin)
• Vaginal discharge

Precautions

• For vaginal use only — do not take by mouth.
• Use with caution during the first trimester of pregnancy
• consult a physician.
• Avoid during menstruation if possible.
• Neomycin may cause sensitisation
• discontinue if allergic reaction occurs.
• Do not use if allergic to any component.
• May damage latex condoms — avoid use concurrently.
• Complete the full course even if symptoms improve.
• Keep out of reach of children.
