Indication

Relief of moderate to severe pain that does not respond adequately to non-opioid analgesics alone, such as headache, migraine, dental pain, musculoskeletal pain, and post-operative pain.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol
• Codeine
• Caffeine

Direction

Adults: 1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours. Do not use for more than 3 days without medical advice. Take with water.

• Drowsiness and dizziness
• Headache
• Dependence and withdrawal symptoms with prolonged use
• Respiratory depression at high doses
• Allergic reactions

Precautions

• Contains codeine (opioid) — risk of dependence and abuse.
• Codeine is converted to morphine in the body

• Contraindicated in children under 12 years for pain relief.
• Contraindicated in patients who are known ultra
• rapid CYP2D6 metabolisers.
• Do not use in patients with respiratory depression or severe asthma.
• Do not use concurrently with MAO inhibitors.
• Avoid alcohol — increases sedation and hepatotoxicity risk.
• Do not take with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney disease.
• Keep out of reach of children.
