Indication

Treatment and prevention of vaginal infections caused by susceptible bacteria and fungi, including mixed vaginitis, bacterial vaginosis, and vaginal candidiasis.

Ingredients

• Neomycin Sulfate
• Polymyxin Sulfate
• Nystatin

Direction

Adults: Insert 1 vaginal capsule or pessary deep into the vagina at bedtime for 12 consecutive days. Use the applicator provided. Wash hands before and after insertion.

Side effects

• Local vaginal irritation or burning
• Allergic contact dermatitis (to neomycin)
• Vaginal discharge

Precautions

• For vaginal use only — do not take by mouth.
• Neomycin may cause sensitisation — discontinue if allergic reaction develops.
• Avoid use during menstruation if possible.
• May damage latex condoms and diaphragms — avoid concurrent use.
• Complete the full course of treatment.
• Consult a physician if used during pregnancy.
• Keep out of reach of children.
