Indication

Symptomatic relief of mild throat infections and sore throat. The combination provides antiseptic (cetylpyridinium chloride) and enzymatic antibacterial (lysozyme) activity in the oropharynx.

Ingredients

• Cetylpyridinium
• Lysozyme

Direction

Adults and children over 6 years: Allow 1 lozenge to dissolve slowly in the mouth every 2–3 hours. Maximum 8 lozenges per day. Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes after use.

Side effects

• Mild oral irritation
• Allergic reaction in patients sensitive to egg protein (rare)

Precautions

• Not for use in children under 6 years.
• If sore throat is severe or persists beyond 5 days
• consult a physician.
• Avoid if allergic to egg
• white proteins (lysozyme is egg
• derived).
• May contain sugars — use with caution in diabetic patients.
• Keep out of reach of children.
