Indication

Selenium sulfide shampoo is used to treat dandruff, seborrhoeic dermatitis of the scalp, and tinea versicolor (a fungal skin infection causing discoloured patches on the skin). It works by slowing the growth of skin cells and reducing the yeast responsible for these conditions.

Direction

For dandruff/seborrhoeic dermatitis: Apply to wet scalp, massage gently, leave for 2–3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Use twice weekly for 2 weeks, then once weekly for maintenance. For tinea versicolor: Apply to affected areas of skin, leave for 10 minutes, then rinse. Use daily for 7 days. Avoid contact with eyes.
