Indication

Paracetamol (acetaminophen) is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer) used to relieve mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache, back pain, muscle aches, and pain associated with colds and flu, as well as to reduce fever.

Ingredients

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 500 mg–1000 mg every 4–6 hours as needed. Maximum dose: 4000 mg (4 g) per 24 hours. Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours. Take with water, with or without food.

Side effects

• Rare when used at recommended doses
• Skin rash or allergic reaction (rare)
• Liver damage with overdose or chronic excessive use
• Blood disorders with very prolonged use (rare)

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• overdose can cause serious liver damage.
• Do not use with other paracetamol
• containing medicines.
• Avoid or limit alcohol consumption during treatment.
• Use with caution in patients with liver disease

• or malnutrition.
• Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• If symptoms persist for more than 3 days or worsen
