Polysilane UPSA 2.25g

Indication

Polysilane UPSA contains dimeticone (simethicone/polydimethylsiloxane), an antifoaming agent used to relieve symptoms of bloating, flatulence, burping, and abdominal discomfort caused by excess gas in the gastrointestinal tract. It is commonly used after meals or before endoscopic procedures.

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: Take one sachet (2.25 g) after meals and at bedtime, up to 3–4 times per day. The gel may be swallowed directly or mixed with a small amount of water. Chew or dissolve in the mouth if in chewable tablet form.

Side effects

• Dimeticone is generally very well tolerated.
• Mild gastrointestinal discomfort in rare cases.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to dimeticone or any excipient.
• Dimeticone is not absorbed systemically and has no known systemic interactions.
• If abdominal pain is severe
