Indication
Oral contraceptive for prevention of pregnancy.
Ingredients
- Desogestrel 150 mcg
- Ethinylestradiol 30 mcg
Direction
Take one tablet daily at the same time each day following the direction on the blister. 21 active tablets followed by 7 inert tablets.
Side effects
- Nausea
- vomiting
- and abdominal bloating.
- Breakthrough bleeding or spotting
- especially in first months.
- Breast tenderness.
- Headache or migraine.
- Mood changes
- including depression.
- Decreased libido.
- Increased risk of venous thromboembolism.
- Rare: hypertension
- cholestasis.
Precautions
- Do not use in women with a history of thromboembolic disorders.
- Consult a physician before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Keep out of reach of children.
