Mifeso 200 mg + 200 mcg

Indication

Medical termination of early intrauterine pregnancy.

Ingredients

• Mifepristone 200 mg (1 tablet)
• Misoprostol 200 mcg (4 tablets)

Direction

Take as directed by a registered medical practitioner. Typically 1 Mifepristone tablet followed by 4 Misoprostol tablets 24-48 hours later.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting
• abdominal cramping
• and diarrhea (very common
• especially with misoprostol).
• Heavy vaginal bleeding and passage of clots.
• Uterine contractions and pelvic pain.
• Headache and dizziness.
• Chills and fever (especially after misoprostol).
• Incomplete abortion requiring surgical intervention.
• Serious: infection
• sepsis (rare but life
• threatening).

Precautions

• For use under medical supervision only.
• Contraindicated in ectopic pregnancy
• chronic adrenal failure
• and porphyrias.
• Keep out of reach of children.
