Indication
Edema associated with congestive heart failure, hepatic cirrhosis, and renal disease; hypertension.
Ingredients
- Furosemide 40 mg

Side effects
- Dehydration and electrolyte imbalance (sodium
- potassium
- magnesium).
- Hypokalaemia (low potassium) causing muscle weakness or cramps.
- Hyponatraemia and hypochloraemia.
- Dizziness or lightheadedness
- especially on standing (postural hypotension).
- Headache.
- Hyperuricaemia (may precipitate gout).
- Hyperglycaemia.
- Hearing loss or tinnitus with high doses (ototoxicity).
- Rare: pancreatitis
- allergic reactions.

- Keep out of reach and sight of children. Follow prescribed doses.
