Ketzol 10 g

Indication

Topical treatment of fungal infection of the skin such as tinea manus, tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis and tinea versicolor. Also effective for many kinds of dermatitis, eczema and pruritus.

Ingredients

• Ketoconazole 10 mg per gram
• Clobetasol propionate 0.25 mg per gram
• Neomycin sulfate 5000 units per gram

Direction

Clean the affected area and apply appropriate cream 2 times daily. Course: 2 weeks for general tinea cruris, tinea corporis. 4 weeks for tinea manuum and tinea pedis.

Side effects

• Local burning
• stinging
• or itching at application site.
• Skin thinning and striae with prolonged corticosteroid use.
• Hypopigmentation.
• Risk of secondary infection.
• Allergic contact dermatitis.
• HPA axis suppression with extensive or occlusive use (rare).
