Pediacetamol 100 mg / ml

Indication

Used to reduce fever and relieve mild to moderate pain in infants and young children, including pain associated with teething, post-vaccination fever, and common colds.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol

Direction

Oral drops: dose based on body weight, typically 10–15 mg/kg per dose every 4–6 hours as needed. Using the enclosed dropper/measuring device: consult dosing chart. Maximum 4 doses in 24 hours. Do not use for more than 3 days without medical advice.

Side effects

• Rare at therapeutic doses: skin rash.
• Hepatotoxicity (liver damage) in overdose.
• Allergic reactions (very rare).

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Do not use with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Avoid in infants with liver disease.
• Consult a doctor before use in premature infants or neonates.
• Seek medical advice if fever persists beyond 48 hours.
• Keep out of reach of children.
