Indication
Combined oral contraceptive pill for the prevention of pregnancy.
Ingredients
- Drospirenone 3 mg
- Ethinylestradiol 0.030 mg
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily for 21 consecutive days, followed by a 7-day tablet-free interval. Refer to enclosed leaflet for further information.
Side effects
- Nausea
- vomiting
- and breast tenderness.
- Breakthrough bleeding or spotting.
- Headache or migraine.
- Mood changes
- including depression.
- Decreased libido.
- Weight changes.
- Increased blood pressure.
- Risk of venous thromboembolism (VTE).
- Rare: arterial thrombosis
- cholestasis.
