Indication
Treatment of hyperuricemia and its clinical complications (gout, uric acid nephropathy)
Ingredients
- Allopurinol
Direction
Swallow the tablets whole with a large glass of water after meals
Side effects
- Skin rash or hypersensitivity reactions (discontinue immediately)
- Nausea
- vomiting
- or diarrhoea
- Drowsiness or headache
- Elevated liver enzymes or hepatotoxicity (rare)
- Bone marrow suppression (rare — agranulocytosis
- thrombocytopenia)
- Stevens
- Johnson syndrome (rare but serious — discontinue if severe rash occurs)

- Keep out of reach of children
- read the leaflet before use
- this medicine must be taken under medical supervision
