Indication
Relief of non-productive cough due to allergy
Ingredients
- Dextromethorphan HBr 7.5 mg/5 mL
- Diphenhydramine HCl 12.5 mg/5 mL
Direction
Adults and children over 12 years: 2 teaspoonfuls (10 mL) 3 times a day. Children 6-12 years: 1 teaspoonful (5 mL) 3 times a day. Shake well before use.
Side effects
- Drowsiness or sedation (Diphenhydramine HCl)
- Dizziness or impaired coordination
- Dry mouth
- nose
- or throat
- Nausea or stomach upset
- Blurred vision
- Constipation
- Difficulty urinating
Precautions
- Store below 30 C
- protect from direct sunlight
- keep container tightly closed
- keep out of reach of children
- may cause drowsiness
- not recommended for productive cough
- not recommended for children under 6 years except by physician advice
