Indication
Analgesic and antipyretic for intravenous infusion.
Ingredients
- Paracetamol 1 g
Direction
As directed by the Physician. For I.V. infusion only.
Side effects
- Nausea or vomiting
- Hypotension
- Increased liver enzymes (transient)
- Injection
- site reactions (pain
- erythema)
- Hypersensitivity or allergic reactions (rare)
- Thrombocytopenia (rare)
Precautions
- Contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic impairment.
- Use with caution in patients with renal impairment
- hepatic disease
- chronic alcoholism
- or malnutrition.
- Do not exceed recommended dose β overdose causes serious hepatotoxicity.
- Monitor liver function in patients on long
- term therapy.
- Avoid concomitant use with other paracetamol
- containing products.
- Contains excipients β check for allergies
- not suitable for patients with mannitol intolerance.
- For intravenous use only
- administer over 15 minutes.
