Indication
- Hypertension (high blood pressure) - Chronic stable angina - Vasospastic (Prinzmetal's) angina - Coronary artery disease
Ingredients
- Amlodipine
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily, with or without food. It should be taken at the same time each day to maintain consistent blood levels.
Side effects
- Peripheral edema (swelling)
- Headache
- Flushing
- Dizziness
- Palpitations
- Fatigue
Precautions
- Use caution with liver impairment
- Monitor for symptomatic hypotension
- Risk of increased angina during initiation
